What to eat, what to eat…

What to eat, what to eat…

Matt and I are taking Jamie to the State Fair tomorrow. If you know us well, then you know this is a regular annual occurence for us. I started trying to link up some of my old posts about our past fair experiences, but honestly it was too exhausting. So, do me a favor and just put “state fair” in the search box to the left side of the blog and find them yourself, if you are interested.

Thank you very much!

Now, back to the fair. I will admit that I am a fried food lover. Seriously. It’s delicious! And, I find it even more delicious when it is on a stick. I know half of you just threw up in your mouths and the other half just screamed, “Hell, yeahs!” But, there you have it. I, Suzanne Tow, love fried food on a stick.

HELL, YEAHS!

Alright, enough silliness. Let’s get serious. Matt and I have been discussing our Fair menu for the past week. Now, I know that not a single soul besides us some of you don’t care so much about the fair food, but around the Tow house we take these decisions seriously. After all, we only do it once (alright fine we go twice) a year. So, you’ve got to make the most of your annual fried food on a stick while you can.

First, I have some  yearly staples I get every time we go. i.e.: strawberry shortcake, a fried Twinkie, and corn on the cob. Those are a must. Everything else is optional.

My research suggests that we have the following new options this year:

Mac & Cheese Burger (Mehhh, no.)

Bacon Peanut Butter Burger (NO!)

Deep Fried Bubble Gum (I’m actually considering this one. What??)

Deep Fried M&M’s (Yes, please!)

Deep Fried Hershey Drops (I could be convinced to try this one.)

Deep Fried Kool-Aid (This sounds interesting to me, actually.)

Deep Fried Mashed Potatoes (I’m thinking this is a definite yes! C’mon. It sounds delicious…like a potato knish but even better cause it’s on a stick!)

What do you think? Any suggestions?

PS- None of the above is not an option. I’m just sayin.
