Baby Fever!!!

Baby Fever!!!

You’ll never believe this…c’mon now- No, I’m NOT pregnant!

So we have some very close friends of the family that has two daughters (Marisa and Lara) we grew up with. We were really excited last year when we found out both of them were pregnant and due within 10 days of each other.

My sister’s neighbor, Ligia, also found out she was pregnant and due just a few days before them.

Respective due dates:
Ligia- Jan. 31
Marisa- Feb. 3
Lara- Feb. 13

Anyway, I called my sister yesterday afternoon to see how some of her interviews are going when she tells me she’s in the hospital. Ligia’s water broke the night before and since her husband is a pilot, he wasn’t home to take her to the hospital. My sister took her and stayed with her through the birth of her little boy, George, who was born around 10:30 am.

As if that wasn’t excitement enough, she gets a call from Marisa that Lara had her little girl, Morgan, earlier that morning.

Two babies in one day!

We couldn’t believe it…until this morning….when we find out Marisa ended up going into labor later that afternoon and had her little girl, Ella, in the late evening.

Three babies in one day!

We’re so excited! How crazy is that? Especially two sisters having their first babies, both girls, on the same day. AMAZING!

Anyway, I can’t wait to see some pictures of all that baby goodness. I still can’t believe all three babies came on the same day. Too crazy!

Oh, and did I mention we’re having a new little niece coming in June. Jamie is going to have a little girl cousin just 9 months younger than her and we can’t wait!

Looks like 2011 is another year of babies!
