I am so fortunate to have a pregnancy with no complications. I feel so lucky for that. Especially in light of the complications we had getting pregnant. Every day, I feel blessed and surprised about some of the interesting things that happen during pregnancy. Some are TMI, so I will keep it to myself. But then there are things like:
1) If I lay my head too flat while sleeping, I actually feel like I am going to projectile vomit (a new thing in the last week or two). I think it’s probably acid reflux. It also happens when I bend over.
2) I am completely addicted to Orange Fanta. Not orange soda. FANTA. Makes no sense….
3) Two days ago I completely ravaged a mini blueberry bread loaf. I mean, I literally saw it at the store, chose blueberry over the chocolate chip loaf, got in the car and tore it open with my teeth while driving (like a rabid raccoon). I ate the whole mini loaf in probably less than 5 seconds. The ironic thing, is that I don’t like blueberries. And, I chose it over chocolate. Again, makes no sense. But I never tasted anything better…
4) I feel like I have to pee at least once an hour. And when I finish peeing, I stand up, and feel like I to pee again!!! Seriously! How much can a girl pee???
I could probably come up with 1000 more stories of weird things I’ve done, or have happened, since I got pregnant but I will spare you…
In other news, many of you have asked me about Tiny’s name. Honestly, Matt and I have had names picked out for a VERY long time. Of course, I don’t think this surprises you. I haven’t really talked about it, cause until we see the baby I wouldn’t say the name is 100% in stone. But, since I prayed for a baby to come to me and I called this baby by a particular name. And, we would speak of our future baby by referring to it by this name and so on, I feel comfortable enough to reveal to you that Tiny’s name is…..
Since, I’m not sure what the future holds as far as more babies go, I felt I needed to get in as much family influence as possible. So, I took all three of our sisters name and put it in a name calculator I found on the nets (no joke!). Jamie is a combination of letters found in the names Elaine, Jennifer, and Amy. Annabel is a combo of both my mom’s and Matt’s mom’s middle names (Anne + Isabel = Annabel). There you have it. Remember, when you say the name out loud, to say Tow like “Wow” or “Now.” That way you get a real sense of how the name rolls off your tongue. LOL! Ok, maybe you won’t take the name as seriously as we do, but we both like the name and it just feels right.
