The Tres Leches dessert I made from the Betty Crocker recipe I found on the nets was VERY yummy! It was a big hit at the Mexican Graduation Party I went to. If you are a fan whatsoever of Tres Leches, I suggest you try this very simple and delicious recipe.

I made the following changes:
1) Use evaporated milk instead of whole milk
2) Use cool whip instead of frosting
3) Soak overnight, not for just the one hour it suggested
4) Top with cherries

Matt, who referred to it as “soggy cake,” actually loved it so much he wanted me to take the few leftovers home. And, even the kids at the party loved it. I’m going to stamp this one as a “SUCCESS!”
