I use this site to help me with weekly meal planning. I highly recommend it if you are looking for easy and new recipes. I find the recipes especially easy and haven’t had a single complaint on any of the new dishes I’ve made from it. It creates weekly menus that includes sides- well, it gives you a list of options, and you choose which menu items you are interested in. At the end, it will create a shopping list that is coded to the recipes, so if you decide to not use a certain ingredient and you see it on the list you can see at a snapshot which recipe it belongs to without sifting through all the recipes. Also, there are tips on other household items, like spring cleaning. Here are some of the recipes they provided for homemade cleaning products. I’m going to try some myself and then I’ll let you know how good they are.
1/4-1/2 teaspoon liquid detergent (preferable pure liquid vegetable soap, like castile soap)
3 tablespoons vinegar
2 cups water
1. Put all the ingredients into a spray bottle, shake it up a bit, and use as you would a commercial brand. The soap in this recipe is important. It cuts the wax residue from the commercial brands you might have used in the past.
ALL-PURPOSE SPRAY CLEANER
1/2 teaspoon washing soda (similar to Baking Soda, but different- can be found in the detergent section of the store)
A dab of liquid soap
2 cups hot tap water
1. Combine the ingredients in a spray bottle and shake until the washing soda has dissolved. Apply and wipe off with a sponge or rag.
BATHROOM MOLD CLEANER
1 cup hydrogen peroxide (3%)
2 cups water
1. Wait at least one hour before rinsing or using shower.
