Illness and Pregnancy don’t mix

Illness and Pregnancy don’t mix

On Saturday, I woke up sick as a dog. I mean, REALLY sick. Like the kind of sick where my whole body ached, even my hair…

The terrible part is that I couldn’t take ANYTHING. And, so you know what I did? I cried. I think I cried most of the day and then I did the unthinkable and called my mom.

Luckily, my mom came over with some homemade chicken noodle soup, but I barely ate that either. I lost 3 pounds on Saturday alone because I couldn’t eat or drink anything.

What’s funny is this- know why I couldn’t eat the chicken noodle soup? I somehow have an aversion to chicken right now. I hate it! I hate looking at it or even smelling it.

On Sunday I started feeling a little better- not 100%, but enough to actually brush my hair, take a shower and walk outside for a minute or two. So, Matt took me the Oldsmar Flea Market. He decided to get some lunch and bought himself an Italian Sausage. And know what? That sausage actually looked good to me. ME- the one who hasn’t eaten red meat or pork in 18 years and just started eating poultry almost 7 years ago.

So, I don’t know what’s going on with me. I mean, I do know what’s going on, but it’s still strange…
