Long and overdue update…

Long and overdue update…

So, I know besides a few cranky posts, I haven’t really been updating you on what’s been going on in the last couple of weeks. Here’s the rundown:

*About a week and a half ago we went to a Threshers game with Rhiannon, Dave and Ty and had a blast!

*We’ve been to Buffalo Wild Wings with Noah and Tara about 6 times in the last couple of weeks to play trivia and watch the Celtic’s games.

*On Mother’s Day we had a BBQ over my Mom and Dad West’s house. Noah and Tara came over, and my sister drove in all the way from Aventura.

*I started my summer classes. So between taking 3 classes and teaching classes full time, I’ve been very busy! Only 11 more days of school (13 for teachers) to go…

*The school board delivered this message to Teachers this past Thursday in the form of a newsletter:

“All contract teachers scheduled for reappointment June 10”
“Despite the budget woes, the district is confident that it can reappoint all annual contract teachers as the year ends. This was made possible by the large number of retirement and leaves. With over 1,200 annual contract teachers, it was felt that they should be aware of their contract status prior to the end of the school year.”

*We went to a Threshers game with Mom and Dad West, Noah and Tara last night and had a really great time! It was all you can eat for $11 (including the tix) and only $2 for beers. So, yeah….good times….I won’t give details, but Tara may or may not have done the human bulldozer on Matt and I might have body slammed Noah. I have the bruises to prove it!

Here’s a little sneak peak at what’s to come:
*The Tow agency is moving into their new office next weekend!

*Mom and Dad Tow will be here around June 2nd!!

*Matt and I are getting married on June 3rd! Ok, well technically we already are married, but this time we’re going to do it before God so that the Catholic Church recognizes us (and our future children).

  1. Funny, we got married in the church on our first anniversary so the Catholic Church would recognize us and our future children…and so my father wouldn’t kill Larry if we got pregnant. Dad was really a BIG influence. 🙂 I have an extremely traditional Puerto Rican father!
