Done and done!

Done and done!

As per an earlier post I explained that we had some exciting stuff coming up. Well, the good news is that the back patio is done!! I should have taken before pictures, but I was so disgusted when we moved in that I pulled up all the weeds before I ever got a chance to do that. So use your imaginations and think of a JUNGLE when you envision what the patio used to look like. Here is the new and improved patio:

PS- items 3-5 on the list are still in progress.

In case you were wondering, ballet isn’t quite the same once you hit 30, (ok, well almost 30- just 3 more months!)

It’s day 2 since my re-introduction and I can’t bend my legs or make any sudden movements. So much for being a dancing fiend. 🙂

Dancing Fiend!

Dancing Fiend!

Guess what everybody!!

I have officially gotten back on the saddle and started dancing again! Yes, after 8 years of no dance training, I went to my first class tonight. I’m hoping to retrain my body back into the dancing machine that it is.

I’m starting off slow with a jazz/lyrical class, but by this summer I plan on adding a ballet barre class. Almost unbelievable, but I did get through my first class without injury. Let’s just say I still need to remind some muscles of what they are supposed to do, but I managed a few jumps and felt pretty proud of myself. My body can still plié, people!!
