One of my students is going to be on Dr. Phil Friday, Feb. 1. Yes, you heard right! It’s an episode about Teen Pregnancy. Can you guess which one is my student? Since I teach the Teen Pregnancy class at my school, it will be interesting to watch. I guess her parents wrote in to Dr. Phil about her situation. I almost feel sick thinking how she will be exploited in this manner, but I’m going to watch it anyway… *sigh*
All I can say is that I couldn’t stop laughing. Yes, this guy is for real!!
Just wanted to make a shout out to my new favorite place: cutestblogontheblock. You can find it by clicking on the link to the right under “My Favorite Blogs to Visit” titled “Cutest Blog.” It’s where I got this super cute and free wallpaper. Yes people, I said FREE!!
Don’t you want a cute blog like me??
You can’t really get the full affect unless you can really see the size/height of the room and where I was sitting in respect to where he was. So, here I zoomed out. See the green recliner I was sitting in? Yeah- SCARY! For sure I thought he was hanging down from the second floor with one paw. Can you see the cartoon now?
On a side note, did you know that if you put material in front of cat like you are bullfighting they get scared and run away?? Yes, they do the opposite of a bull. Don’t try this at home! Boo may be a little traumatized and now we can’t even put on our clothes or jackets on around him…
Some of you have asked me about my classroom. I teach Nutrition & Wellness, Intro to Food Preparation (cooking), Child Development, and Parenting Skills. I just wanted to note that Pinellas County has some of the best schools in the State. I’m very lucky to work for this county. They have provided my class with a brand new computer, a laptop, a DVD player, 4 whole kitchens with supplies, and 5 Baby simulators. There is more, but the list is too long! Here are some pics of my classroom for your viewing pleasure.
